Robbers Raid Catholic Church In Abuja, Cart Away Toyota Car, Food, Drinks

Dare-devil robbers invaded the Kubwa Parish of the Catholic Church in Abuja on Sunday, September 20, 2015 making away with valuable equipment and a Toyota Camry car.

According to reports, the bandits forced their way into the premises of the Catholic Church of Annunciation after the Sunday service. Included in among the items stolen from the Church are bags of rice and drinks which were donated by parishioners in a thanksgiving service.

Parish Priest, Rev. Father Matthew Kwaggas explained to the congregation how robbers broke into the church just two weeks earlier and made away with the public address system and some musical equipment belonging to the church.

It is suspected that this same gang of robbers is responsible for a series of attacks in the area, especially Arab Road, Omega Paints Street, and Sunrise Streets. Residents are now living in persistent fear of these criminals.
