Ahead of the ministerial screening scheduled to begin to tomorrow, October 13, President Muhammadu Buhari today, October 12, sent the list of the 2nd batch of ministerial nominees to the Senate.
While we can not independently verify the names on the second list as at the time of filling this report, speculations has it that former president of the Nigerian Bar Association, Rotimi Akeredolu, the former chairman of the National Population Commission, Festus Odimegwe, former governor of Osun state, Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Brath Nnaji are likely nominees.
Recall that on September 30 the President sent the list of the first batch of nominees to the National Assembly.
The list was delivered by Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Senator Ita Enang, and received by the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
Developing story.
