Famous lawyer and former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s bosom friend, J. S. P. C. Nwokolo is dead.
Nwokolo passed away at the age of 75.
A statement by the Nwokolo family, signed by his son, Patrick Chukwunwike Nwokolo, said the deceased, who hailed from Umudunu village, Abagana, in Njikoka Local Government Area, Anambra State, died on October 9.
The statement described the deceased as a devoted Christian, who lived an impactful life and “silently made immense contributions towards nation-building and human development.”
The family said the burial of the patriarch would be announced later.
Nwokolo is survived by his wife, Barrister Patty Nwokolo, seven children and many relations.
