The African version of Big Brother TV show (BBA The Chase) charge viewers 70 Rand (£5) to watch ‘behind-the-scenes’ footages of the housemates including full nudity when they’re in the shower. My issue with this is not about nudity per se, but the side money being made by a program marketed as bringing young Africans together. Am I wrong in thinking that this ‘Peeping Tom’ perverse voyeurism is degrading and taking the program’s exploitation of sex too far? - Ayo Shonaiya
Someone replied and said:
Ganiu Oyewole yes, you are right, I think this is projecting full exploitation of our youths based on the poverty of the country, and this is not helping the incoming generation. And I think there should be sanity. tanks
What do you have to say to this?
