The off-shoulder trend officially started for us at the 2015 Lagos Fashion and Design Week where we spotted designers – DZYN and Maki Oh send out models down the runway in what seemed like the barest of shoulders. And since then, our ever so watchful BN Style radar has been spotting quite a number of our favourite fashion girls put in their unique spin on the trend, from the likes of; TV girl – Zainab Balogun, to womenswear designer – Wana Sambo (who has really been caught up with this trend from the look of her Instagram feed), and fashion darling – Mocheddah.
The off-shoulder trend is quickly gaining momentum and catching up on our fervent fashionistas like a wild fire, but we wonder, will you our dear BN readers be joining this trend too—or will you be sitting this one out?
