-The ministry will organise and discuss a process to ensure transparency and avoid future occurrence
This was disclosed by Abdulrahman Danbazau, the Minster of Interior while briefing newsmen after the budget defense before senate committee on interior.
He said the federal government has concluded plans to employ them and that their employment letters will be available to them as soon as possible.
“We have decided that we are going to finally take them on board so very soon we will issue them
their letters of employment.
“We have a committee that is looking at the overall exercise and on the other aspect we will take decision later.
“There is a Presidential directive and we are implementing that directive, so yesterday we took a final decision on that and they will get their letters of employment as soon as possible,” he said.
He also added that the ministry will organise and discuss a process to ensure transparency and avoid future occurrence.
He also said that the ministry will look into the case of others who participated in the test but at a later time.
Naij.com recalls that the tragedy that occurred in the 2014 Nigeria Immigration recruitment on Saturday, 15 March, 2014, killed no fewer than 16 job seekers while several were injured.
At the time, 6.5 million people in all 37 states of Nigeria stormed various recruitment centers in the country for the 4000 vacant positions in the service.
